The Revenge is obviously another one of these pioneering Brits mentioned a couple of posts back, although his sound has recently begun leaning very much towards traditional house, and away from the other sounds in which he was dabbling. Regardless, one would be a fool to criticize this man - I'm loving the 6th Borough Project's One Night In The Borough pt. 2 (the 2nd 3rd of the album) which was released yesterday. The track from the EP below is similarly to the rest of the release, a lot dancier than the majority of stuff to come from Clarke's pairing with Craig Smith, if that's your thing - it's got great choppy vocals. The other is something new from Graham Clarke himself, up til now only the Tones mix had been available, this ones a little more accessible.

I've been sitting on the next couple of tunes/artists for a little while now. Montauk are a Sweedish duo with a sound difficult to classify - I've enjoyed some of their stuff in the past but the following track from their Newsroom EP which dropped yesterday is more post-worthy than the rest, give it until 4:45, it's really a bit of a jam, plus no one likes a gum thief. Tad Wily is a guy with serious potential - if he continues producing stuff like the track below he'll explode in no time - think DFA remixes with a dash of Rory Phillips.
